Dear Mrs Low

Mr Low's Estate

I was very sorry to hear that your husband has passed away. I am glad the funeral that he had planned so carefully during his lifetime passed off as he would have wished.

You told me that you feel too distressed to take on the role of his Executor under his Will without my help. I suggested that you asked one of the children to download for you from our website a copy of our notes on Administering an Estate so you can see what is involved.

My colleague, Jane Smith and I will do our very best to wind up your husband’s Estate as efficiently and speedily as possible. I confirm that we do not charge you a percentage of the value of the Estate, as often happens, but we charge you simply for the work we do.

When you are feeling up to it, do arrange to come and talk things over with Jane or me.

Alex Davies
